How We Can Help

At Healing Tails we know first hand how these symptoms of allergies, whether they are seasonal or year round,  can be stressful for both you and your pet! Countless times we’ve heard the same story: pet parents that have tried everything-- allergy medications, medicated baths, prescription diets, steroids and injections--some of which provide only temporary relief and some which provide no relief at all or come with unwanted side effects!

We also meet many pet parents who have changed their pets diet to raw and added supplements into their pet’s treatment plan because they heard that it might help,  but they haven’t seen any improvement.

The Healing Tails Difference

At Healing Tails we focus on the root cause of allergies, which is typically gut inflammation and imbalance.  Inflammation and imbalance may be the problem even if your pet does not have gastrointestinal symptoms. We review your pet’s complete medical history, perform a physical exam and may run additional testing to better determine what is happening with your pet internally.

Once we’ve gathered all of our information, we can recommend a specific combination of diet, supplements and treatments (such as acupuncture)  tailored to your pets specific condition. Allergies in western medicine are typically treated with a single approach and simply cover up symptoms. By addressing the root cause of the disease,  we can help to heal your pet from the inside out. We truly want to partner with pet parents who are in it for the long haul as healing your pet from the inside out may take time, patience and a commitment to the pet’s overall health.
